Description

The story revolves around a beautiful and pretty little girl named Mira and her friends Bira and Vira. All of them are childhood friends and they get invited to the new moon party of a fantasy land called Farland by the princess. Mira gets excited to meet all the magical creatures and see the Dragon of Underhill. Farland is a magical land with various magical creatures residing in it including a dragon and a giant.

When the three kids arrive in Farland, they find out that Farland is facing an attack by the Queen of Witches. She wants to unleash the dragon of Underhill and magically control it to destroy Farland and its creatures.

The only way to save Farland is to wake up the Giant since he is the only one who can defeat the dragon. Will Mira with her brave and valiant efforts be able to save the people of Farland?

My Experience

Kids are inquisitive and energetic in the early years and any kind of good virtues are instilled them through good stories. Stories are the best way of teaching your kids about the rights and the wrongs. Adventures of Farland teaches about courage and wit of a kid Mira who shows maturity and courage beyond her age.

Let’s talk about the writing then – the writing is crisp and simple and the visual pages provide a better understanding and those excited my kid as well. The introduction is detailed and gives a thorough background to the reader about the characters and the buildup as well as the plot starts growing as you pass the introduction. The climax is well written with the incidents explained in a way which keeps the interest of the kids and helps them fall in love with books and stories.

In the end, all I can say is Adventures of Farland starts with a quote saying ‘To all the children who have ever felt different’ and it provides the kids with enough which might encourage them to try something different without being afraid.

Recommendation

This book is a great read for kids. The best part of the book is that the language is simple and keeps the reader hooked with lots of suspense and excitement. I truly recommend this book to the young minds.
